Mr. Clinton "Kenny" Edward Foster Sr. Obituary

Pelham, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce that on Monday, June 8, 2026, Clinton Edward Foster, Sr., affectionately known as "Kenny," of 5164 Allison Road, Pelham, North Carolina entered eternal rest with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Kenny was born on January 23, 1960, in Reidsville, North Carolina, to the late James Edward Foster and JoAnn Redd Foster. He was raised with strong values of faith, family, and hard work, principles that guided him throughout his life and were reflected in the way he treated others.

A graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School, Class of 1979, Kenny dedicated his life to his family, his faith, and his work. He married the love of his life and best friend, Jeanette Thompson Foster, in 1984, and together they built a life grounded in love, commitment, and devotion. Through the years, they shared countless memories and supported one another through every season of life.

Kenny was widely known and respected for his work as a mechanic. Blessed with a natural talent for understanding how things worked, he spent many years repairing engines and mechanical equipment. He possessed an extraordinary ability to diagnose problems and find solutions where others could not. Family members, friends, neighbors, and customers often sought his help because they trusted his knowledge, honesty, and skill. He took pride in his work and believed in doing every job with care and excellence. His strong work ethic and willingness to help others earned him the admiration and respect of many throughout the community.

While Kenny valued his profession, his relationship with God was the foundation of his life. He was a faithful and active member of Allen's Chapel Church, where he was an usher, a worshipper who fellowshipped with his church family for several years. He loved the Lord and found strength, peace, and purpose in his faith. Kenny believed in the power of prayer and trusted God's guidance through both joyful and difficult times. His faith was not expressed through grand gestures, but through the quiet and consistent way he lived. He treated people with kindness and respect, offered help whenever he could, and sought to be an example of Christian character to those around him.

Those who knew Kenny will remember a man of quiet strength, wisdom, humility, and dependability. He never needed to be the center of attention. Instead, he made a lasting impact through his steady presence, thoughtful advice, and genuine care for others.

Outside of work and church, Kenny found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time with his beloved wife, Jeanette, and his family, who meant everything to him. He enjoyed watching classic westerns and episodes of The Andy Griffith Show, relaxing at home, and sharing laughter and conversation with those he loved. Home was his favorite place to be, especially when surrounded by family.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Foster and JoAnn Redd Foster, and his brother, Otis Foster.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Jeanette Thompson Foster; his children, Tizza Oliver Newkirk (Brandon), Clinton Edward Foster Jr. (Erika), and Quinton Foster (Jacki); his five beloved grandchildren, Courtney Foster, Chloe Foster, Correll Foster, Corinth Mcculley, and Issac Foster; his brothers, Antonio "Tony" Foster (Marceai) of Ruffin, North Carolina, and Reginald "Reggie" Foster of McLeansville, North Carolina; his sister, Princess Sirlena Pinnix (Nate) of Brown Summit, North Carolina; his uncles, Donald Foster (Evelyn) of Pelham, North Carolina, Larry Foster (Carolyn) of Yanceyville, North Carolina, and Leslie Foster of Pelham, North Carolina; his aunts, Lillie Yancey of Pelham, North Carolina, Mollie Turner of Reidsville, North Carolina, and Audrey Morgan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, church family, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Kenny's life was a testament to faith, perseverance, and love. He loved God, cherished his family, worked diligently, and touched the lives of many through his kindness and generosity. Although he will be deeply missed, the memories he created, the values he instilled, and the faith he demonstrated will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him.

"Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"
