Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Colby Stewart age 41 of 174 Murphy Street, Yanceyville, North Carolina. He passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Colby, born July 14, 1984, in Danville, Virginia, was the son of Seasar Stewart and the late Barbara Ann Farmer Stewart.
As a native and lifelong resident of Milton, North Carolina, where he attended the local public schools and earned his High School diploma Piedmont Community College in 2005.
Colby being man of the great outdoors gave him great pleasure working odd side jobs including the lumber industry. He was employed at Max Kendall Lumber & Tin as a machine operator for many years.
In terms of hobbies or his favorite pastimes were playing video games, especially 2K, and NFL games. He was also into adventure games such as Batman and Fort Nite which he enjoyed playing with his youngest daughter Skyla. Colby was passionate about spending time with family and friends, as well as watching cooking channels and crime investigation shows. Everyone who knew Colby knew he was a true die-hard Carolina Panther’s fan. He was devoted and faithfully supported his team no matter what the score.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Louise Stewart, and his maternal grandparents Ruben and Annie Farmer.
Mr. Colby Stewart leaves to cherish his memories with his beloved wife Stacy Mensar Stewart of the home, his two daughters Shianne Stewart and Skyla Stewart, both of the home; his father Seasar Stewart of Milton, North Carolina; his brother Kelly Stewart of Danville, Virginia; and his adopted sister Andrea Ward of California; two nephews Camron Murray, and Cavien Ward; and a host of other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.
Memorial Service for Mr. Colby Stewart will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025; in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
