Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Donnell Neuglenn Stephens, Jr. of 63 Bear Paw Trail, Yanceyville, North Carolina. He passed away on Thursday, June 04, 2026; at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Donnell, the son of the late Donnell Neuglenn Stephens, Sr. and Juanita Taylor Stephens, was born on August 23, 1954; in Caswell County, North Carolina.

After attending school in the Caswell County public school system, he developed a strong work ethic in farming and in the textile industry. Donnell dedicated numerous years to Cone Mills prior to his retirement. In his leisure time, Donnell enjoyed feeding the squirrels and fishing.

In his passing, Donnell now joins his parents; along with his sister Lenora Stephens; his five brothers Thomas Stephens, Jimmy Stephens, William Stephens, Berkley Stephens, and Freddie Orange.

Mr. Donnell Neuglenn Stephens, Jr. leaves to cherish his memories with his three sons Dean Southern of Blanch, North Carolina, Donnell Neuglenn Stephens, Jr. (Meka) of Burlington, North Carolina, and Roger Lee Stephens of Tennessee; his seven sisters Linda Chandler (Clyde) of Milton, North Carolina, Audrey Harshaw of Blanch, North Carolina, Brenda Woods (Reverend Spencer Woods) of Reidsville, North Carolina; Melissa Stephens of Blanch, North Carolina; Debra Stephens of Providence, North Carolina; Lisa Stephens of Blanch, North Carolina; and Shinette Stephens of Semora, North Carolina; his four brothers Roosevelt Stephens (Clara) of South Carolina; Alvin Stephens (Patricia) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Glenn Stephens of Durham, North Carolina, and Johnny Orange (Dorothy) of Danville, Virginia; his special aunt Francis Massey of Yanceyville, North Carolina; his six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; his lifelong family friend Elaine Henderson of Yanceyville, North Carolina; his bonus son Eric Henderson of Burlington, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.

The Family will be receiving guests between the hours of 2:00pm-6:00pm at the home house 615 High Rock School Road, Blanch, North Carolina.

A Public viewing for Mr. Donnell Neuglenn Stephens, Jr. will be on Friday, June 12, 2026; from 2:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Funeral Services for Mr. Donnell Neuglenn Stephens, Jr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Pastor Spencer Woods of White Rock Baptist Church, Danville, Virginia, will deliver the “Words of Comfort.”
