Mr. Felton Moore

Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Felton Moore of 260 John Sellars Road in Yanceyville, North Carolina. He passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Alamance Regional Medical Center, (Cone Health) in Burlington, North Carolina.

Felton was the son of the late Zeno Evans and Mable German Moore, born on November 12,1956 in Greenville, North Carolina.

He studied at the local public county schools and later graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Spiritually, Felton was a faithful member of Hamer Baptist Church in Blanch, North Carolina. Felton was also a retired truck driver of 34 years from EPES Transportation. His truck handler's name was "Polar Bear".

In addition to his parents, Felton was preceded in death by his four sisters Debra Jean Carmon, Lucy Burnett, Mary Bell Evans and Mabel Thorn; his four brothers Marvin E. German, Roosevelt German, Robert Albert and James Evans.

Mr. Felton Moore leaves to cherish his memories with his beloved wife Barbara Jean Swanson Moore of the home; his daughter Totianna Natressa Moore Fields (Derrick) of Greenville, North Carolina; three sons Jonte Trawayne Wilson and Marcus Romaro Moore both of Greenville, North Carolina and Jordan Poteat of Peleton, West Virginia; his one sister Joan Marie Beverly of Riverdale, Maryland; three brothers William Lee Moore (Edna) of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, Wendell German  (Vivian) of Goldsboro, North Carolina, and Darrell C. German of Greenville, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, special people that he loved dearly Veronica Mebane and Felicia Cunningham; and many other cherished friends.

A public viewing for Mr. Felton Moore will be on Wednesday, August 06, 2025; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Felton Moore will be conducted at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 07, 2025; at Hamer Missionary Baptist Church in Blanch, NC, where Pastor Daniel Elmore will deliver the Words of Comfort.

Interment will follow in the Hamer Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Blanch, NC.
