Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. John Edward Turner of Yanceyville, North Carolina. He departed this life on Monday, September 01, 2025; at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital (Cone Health) in Reidsville, North Carolina.
John was born on January 03, 1946, to Mary Irvin Stokes Turner and the late Willie Edward Turner in Caswell County, North Carolina.
He attended the Caswell County public school systems and was a member of Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church in Yanceyville, North Carolina.
John was an employee of Copeland Fabrics in Burlington, North Carolina prior to his retirement.
In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by his son Timothy Williams, his sisters Victoria Elaine “Tooties” Turner-Smith, Elizabeth Ann “Bay Bay” Turner and his brother Charles Thomas “Big Bay” Turner.
Mr. John Edward Turner leaves to cherish his memories with his wife Cindy Williams Turner of Yanceyville, North Carolina; his devoted beloved daughters Mary Marie Turner of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Brenda McAllister of Arizona; his son Mark Williams of Yanceyville, North Carolina, and a bonus son Larry Felder of Reidsville, North Carolina; his mother Mary Irvin Stokes Turner of Yanceyville, North Carolina; his sister Dorothy “Honey” Turner-Graves (David) of Yanceyville, North Carolina; and his brother Clarence Junior “Shane” Turner (Clarice) of Yanceyville, North Carolina; his sister-in-law Christine Turner of Yanceyville, North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren, especially his ride or dies Xavier Turner, Jamiya Lipscomb, Jakiyah Lipscomb, Serenity Smith, Nakari Turner, nineteen great-grandchildren, his long time friend Nancy King of Danville, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.
A public viewing and visitation for John Edward Turner will be on Saturday, September 13, 2025; from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Mr. John Edward Turner will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025; in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
