Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. John Liston Jeffries of Yanceyville, North Carolina. He passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Sovah Health in Danville, Virginia.

John was the son of the late William Jeffries Sr. and Anna Elizabeth Graves Jeffries, born on January 04, 1950, in Caswell County, North Carolina.

He attended the local schools and was of the Baptist faith. As a lifelong resident of Caswell County, North Carolina, John enjoyed the great outdoors, where he fulfilled his life farming and lumberjacking.

Mr. John Liston Jeffries leaves to cherish his memories with his three sisters Frances Jeffries of Atlanta, Georgia, Sharon Jeffries and Tammy Walls (Willie) all of Louisville, Kentucky; six brothers William Jeffries Jr., Romeo Jeffries, Madison Jeffries all of Prospect Hill, North Carolina, Melvin Jeffries, Larry Jeffries, both of Yanceyville, North Carolina, and Elton Jeffries of Binghamton, New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends.

A public viewing for Mr. John Liston Jeffries will be on Thursday, April 03, 2025; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

A Family visitation viewing for Mr. John Liston Jeffries will be on Friday, April 04, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. John Liston Jeffries will be conducted at 1:00p m on Friday, April 04, 2025, in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Yanceyville Municipal Cemetery in Yanceyville, NC.
