Mr. Kevin Leander Myers

Dry Fork, VA - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Kevin Leander Myers age 37, of 2917 Sunrise Drive, Dry Fork, Virginia. He passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, as a result of an automobile accident.

Kevin was born on December 19, 1987, in Danville, Virginia to the late Henry Lee Myers and Janice Ann Hood Myers.

He received his education from the local Danville City Schools in Danville, Virginia and was a member of Bibleway Cathedral in Danville, Virginia. Being skilled and talented in transportation, as a van driver, Kevin had a work in progress of being a self-employed private driver.

Kevin was known for his kind and generous heart; he could never say no to anyone and was deeply loved by many. Kevin never met a stranger and touched countless lives with his warm spirit.

Kevin completed his earthly journey and peacefully departed this life now joining his parents, his maternal grandparents, the late Arvin Hood, Sr., John and Cecil Williams Grasty, his aunts Nancy Myers, Renee Myers, and his uncle James Myers.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Ketina Levelle Wooding Myers; his brother Christopher Myers of Phoenix, Arizona; his aunts Thelma Rea Ellis of North Carolina, Valery Grasty Barnes of Pennsylvania, Arlene Myers Cobb and Denise Myers both of Danville, Virginia, Barbara Wilson, Deloris Myers, Evelyn Myers, and Sarah Myers all of Paterson, New Jersey; uncles Dennis “Pete” Grasty of Maryland, Albert Dennis Hood, Alvin Hood both of Danville, Virginia, and Shawn Grasty of Greensboro, North Carolina; his bonus brothers/cousins Lamontae Grasty, and Arron Grasty; childhood best friend/bonus brother John Lawrence of Oklahoma; his bonus nieces and nephews Lalia, Karina, DaShown, Monica, and Dallas; his mother-in-law Earnestine Wooding of Dry Fork, Virginia; his brothers-in-law Anthony Wooding (Rosalyn) of Ruffin, North Carolina and Frank Wooding of Axton, Virginia. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many cherished friends who will forever hold him dear.

A public viewing for Mr. Kevin L. Myers will be on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 2pm to 7pm at Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel 417 Price St. Eden, NC.

Funeral service for Mr. Kevin L Myers will be on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 2:30pm at Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel 417 Price St. Eden, NC. Elder Larry Campbell of Bibleway Cathedral, Danville, Virginia will deliver the eulogy and Pastor Dion Noel of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church will preside.

Final resting place will be in the Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, Virginia.
