Pelham, NC- It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Marvin “Muff” Holloway, 71, of 3943 Allison Road, Pelham, NC, who passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro, NC.
Mr. Marvin “Muff” Holloway was the son of the late Lenwood Edward Harrison and Mae Holloway Reed, born on February 20, 1953. He was a member of the Sassafras Grove Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Copland Fabrics, Burlington, NC.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Marvin “Muff” Holloway was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Colene England Holloway; four brothers, John Holloway, Oscar Holloway, Lindsey Holloway, Julius Holloway; two sisters, Adella Abraham and Shirley Lawson.
Mr. Marvin “Muff” Holloway leaves to cherish his memories his two sons; Marvin England(Christel) and Travis England (Kim) both of Ruffin, NC; one sister; Arlene Highsmith of Philadelphia, PA; eight brothers; Samuel Holloway (Sally) of Ringgold, Va; James Harrison (Florence) and Joseph Harrison both of Yanceyville, NC; Nelson Harrison (Estelle) of Pelham, NC; Daryl Reed and Demetrice Reed both of Louisiana; Malcom Reed and Bertram Reed both of California; three grandchildren, Kayla Daye (Rodney), T’Niya England (Marlo) and Zelotis Stokes (Tarlisha) ; two great grandchildren; Anyla Griffis , Anavii Griffis and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A public viewing and visitation for Mr. Marvin “Muff” Holloway will be on Saturday, October 12, 2024; from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home, Yanceyville, NC.
