Mr. Ronnie Plunkett

Madison, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Ronnie Lee Plunkett of 302 Island Drive, Madison, North Carolina. He departed this life on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at his residence.

Ronnie, the beloved son of the late Noel E. Plunkett and Bernice Pritchett Plunkett, was born on June 07, 1951, in Caswell County, North Carolina.

He was a graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School, Class of 1970.  Ronnie furthered his career by serving our country with pride as a 20-year retired veteran of the United States Department of the Air Force. Shortly afterwards, he became a United States Postal employee prior to his retirement.

In addition to his parents Noel and Bernice Plunkett, Ronnie was preceded in death by his four sisters Marie Plunkett, Deborah Plunkett Luethel Graves, and Joyce Ann Plunkett Mitchell; his seven brothers Carl Plunkett, William “Spider” McCain, Noel Plunkett, John Plunkett, James Plunkett, Bobby Plunkett, and Charlie Plunkett.

Mr. Ronnie Lee Plunkett leaves to cherish his memories with his three sons Quenton Snipes Plunkett and Ryan Snipes Plunkett both of Willingboro, New Jersey, and Ronnie Lee Plunkett, Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland; one sister Bernice P. Vincent of South Boston, Virginia; one brother Clarence McCain (Mary Louise) of Yanceyville, North Carolina; one grandchild Averi Snipes Plunkett; a sister-in-love Clara McCain of Pelham, North Carolina; a devoted friend Velma Snipes of Willingboro, New Jersey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.

Family visitation viewing for Mr. Ronnie Lee Plunkett will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ronnie Lee Plunkett will be conducted at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home. Pastor Jasper Beard will deliver Words of Comfort.

Interment at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
