Eden, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Walter Lee Smith 60, of 105 Straw Trail Eden, NC, who passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, in Concord, NC.

He was a native of Rockingham, County, NC, the son of the Joann Smith and the late Billy Millner, born March 12, 1965. He was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and was an employee of Gaylor Electric as an electrician.

His survivors are mother, Joann Smith of Eden, NC; one daughter, Kayla Smith of Concord, NC.; sister, Darlene Howell of Eden, NC; two half-sisters, Phyliss Millner and Rhonda Millner; uncles; aunts; other relatives and friends. 

A viewing for Mr. Walter Lee Smith will be Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 12 noon to 1:00 pm at Springfield Baptist Church 2008 Price Rd. Eden, NC
