Mr. William Floyd McDaniel Sr.

Yanceyville, NC -  It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. William Floyd McDaniel Sr. of 605 Henry T. Graves Rd. Yanceyville, NC who passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 in the Alamance Health Care in Burlington, NC.

He was a native of Caswell County, NC the son of the late Jim McDaniel and Fay Allen McDaniel, born May 5, 1941. He was a member of Sassafras Grove Baptist Church and was a truck Driver before retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Ann McDaniel; daughter, Jenny McDaniel; sisters, Carrie A. Reid and Dorothy ":Dot" Murphy.

William leaves to cherish his memories are sons, Ronnie Wilson (Cloristine)  of Milton and William McDaniel Jr. (Shannon) of Burlington, NC; two daughters, Lisa Johnson Gregory and Amanda Tanner; brother, James McDaniel (Patricia) of Norfolk, Va.; three sisters, Mary Edna Mayer of New Jersey, Clarice Brown of Greensboro, NC and Shirley Graves of Yanceyville, NC;  sister-in-law, Dorothy  Galloway of Pelham, NC; 17 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren.

 THE FAMILY MAY RECEIVE RELATIVES AND FRIENDS AT THE RESIDENCE DAILY FROM 10 AM TO 5 PM.

Public viewing for Mr. William Floyd McDaniel Sr. will be on Monday, January 20, 2025; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. William Floyd McDaniel Sr.  will be conducted at 2:00pm Tuesday, January 21, 2025; in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Sassafras Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Yanceyville, NC.
