Mrs. Carol King Johnson

Reidsville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Carol King Johnson formerly of 1969 Stoney Creek School Road, Reidsville, North Carolina. She passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2024, at Alamance Regional Medical Center (Cone Health) in Burlington, North Carolina.

Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Sam King and Willie Richmond King, was born on April 03, 1949, in Orange County, North Carolina.

She was employed at both Maxway, and Efland Hosiery Mill in Efland, North Carolina as a machine operator prior to her retirement.

Carol was a member of Jones Crossroads Baptist Church in Reidsville, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, William Johnson; and her son, Calvin Lee King, Sr.

Mrs. Carol King Johnson leaves to cherish her memories with her adopted daughter, Sasha Warren of Burlington, North Carolina; her two adopted sons, Brandon Warren (Angie) of Pelham, North Carolina, and Justin Warren (Turquoise) of Graham, North Carolina; 4 grandchildren, Calvin Lee King, Jr. of Valdosta, Georgia, Brandon King of Greensboro, North Carolina; Latoya King, and Justin King both of Burlington, North Carolina; and 21 great-grandchildren; seven sisters, Algearn Lowe of Reidsville, North Carolina, Glenda King Jennings (Wendell) of Greensboro, North Carolina, Delois King, Elsie King, Sylvia King, Lillie King, and Thelma Paylor all of Burlington, North Carolina; one brother, Walter Lee King (Andrea) of Greensboro, North Carolina; and a host of other relatives, and friends.

A public viewing and visitation for Mrs. Carol King Johnson will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2024; from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home, Yanceyville, NC.
