Pelham, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Colene England Holloway of 3943 Allison Rd. Pelham, NC, who passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the Authoracare Collective Hospice in Burlington, NC.
Colene was born on January 07, 1953, to the late George and Gladys Totten England in Rockingham, County, North Carolina. She was affectionately known as by family and friends as “Lene”.
Colene attended and received her education from Caswell County public school systems. She also was an active member of Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Pelham, North Carolina.
Her place of employment was with Unifi Industries in Reidsville, North Carolina; as a machine operator.
In addition to her parents, Colene was preceded in death by her sister, Angel England Allen and her brother, Eddie Badgett.
Mrs. Colene England Holloway leaves to cherish her precious memories to her beloved husband: Marvin Holloway of the residence; two beloved sons: Travis England (Kimberly) and Marvin England (Christel) both of Ruffin, NC; five sisters: Marion Evans, of Yanceyville, NC, Elizabeth Galloway of Gibsonville, NC, Shirdean Inge (Lee), Regina Williams, and Naiokia Jackson (Chris) all of Reidsville, NC; three brothers: Joe England (Pam), Mitchell Bernard England all of Yanceyville, NC, and George England Jr. of Reidsville, NC; one aunt: Yvonne Holloway of Pelham, NC; three grandchildren: Zelotis Antonio Stokes (Tarlisha) of Yanceyville, NC, T’Niya England and Kayla Daye (Rodney) all of Ruffin, NC; two great grandchildren: Anyla and Anavii Griffis; one sister-in-law: Arlene Highsmith of Philadelphia, PA; four brothers-in-law: Samuel Holloway (Sally) of Ringgold, VA, Nelson Harrison (Ida) of Pelham, NC, James Harrison (Florence) and Joe Harrison all of Yanceyville, NC; good friends, Patricia Swann of Milton and Rose Webb ; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and cherished friends.
Public viewing will be Sunday, October 01, 2023; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral.
Family visitation viewing will be Monday, October 02, 2023; from 1:30p.m. to 2:00p.m. at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Pelham, NC.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Colene England Holloway will be conducted 2:00pm Monday, October 02, 2023, at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Pelham, NC.
Interment will follow at Cemetery in at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Pelham, NC.
