Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Shuff Hampton

Cascade, VA - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of  Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Shuff Hampton 71 of 3181 Cascade Mill Road, Cascade, Virginia. She passed away on Tuesday, February 03, 2026, at SOVAH Health in Danville, Virginia.

Dorothy was the beloved daughter of the late Rober Shuff and Lucy Katie Brown, born on February 22, 1954, in Eden, North Carolina.

As a native and lifelong resident, Dorothy attended local public schools and pursued her career at Spray Cotton Mills until her retirement. She was a member of Star of Bethlehem Way of the Cross in Cascade, Virginia.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Hampton, along with her brother Lester Bown.

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Shuff Hampton leaves to cherish her memories with her daughter Barbara Lowe of Cascade, Virginia; her son Donald Shuff of Greensboro, North Carolina; her siblings Christine R. Galloway of Greensboro, North Carolina, Savannah Dillard, Selena Adams, June A Robert, Sandra G. Robert, and her brother William T. Roberts all of Eden, North Carolina; her four grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.

There will be no services held for Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Shuff Hampton.
