Mrs. Maggie G. Sellars

Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Maggie Sellars age 99, of 139 Roger Sellars Road, Yanceyville, North Carolina. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the residence of her grandson.

A lifelong resident of Caswell County, North Carolina, Mrs. Sellars was born, January 15, 1926, to the late George Lawson Sellars and Hattie Lou Graves Sellars. She dedicated her life to being a caregiver to her family and friends, as well as farming until her retirement. She was a member of Graves Chapel Baptist Church, in Yanceyville, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Roger Scott Sellars; her daughter Annie Lea Sellars Spinks; her granddaughter Pamela Stadler; two grandsons Harold Spinks, and Wendell Scott Sellars; her sister Lula Sellars Briggs; and her three brothers Willie Sellars, Junior Sellars, and David Sellars.

Mrs. Maggie Sellars leaves to cherish her precious memories with her four sons, Eddie J. Sellars, Felix D. Sellars, Tommie L. Sellars all of Yanceyville, North Carolina and Bobby R. Sellars (Yvonne) of Greensboro, North Carolina; one sister Mary Delois Briggs of Yanceyville, North Carolina; one brother George L. Sellars of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren; twenty-three great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; extended family members; and dear friends.

The family is receiving guests at 286 Henry T. Graves Road, Yanceyville, NC.

A public viewing for Mrs. Maggie Sellars will be on Saturday, October 04, 2025, from 2:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

A Family visitation viewing for Mrs. Maggie Sellars will be on Sunday, October 05, 2025, from 2:00p.m. to 2:30 p.m., at Graves Chapel Baptist Church, Yanceyville, NC.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Maggie Sellars will be conducted at 2:30p.m. on Sunday, October 05, 2025, at Graves Chapel Baptist Church, Yanceyville, NC.

Interment will follow at Sweet Gum Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mebane, NC.
