Burlington-NC: It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Pauline S. Sellars of 2219 Kerr Chapel Road, Burlington, North Carolina. She completed her earthly journey and peacefully departed this life on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Alamance Regional Medical Center (Cone Health) in Burlington, North Carolina.
Pauline was born on May 06, 1931, to the late William Thomas Sellars and Anna Shaw Sellars of Caswell County, North Carolina.
Early in life, Pauline joined Stoney Creek A.M.E. Church in Elon, NC. She attended the Caswell County Public Schools and retired from Burlington Industries after 30 years of service.
Pauline was an active member of Stoney Creek A.M.E. Church in Elon, NC from an early age, serving on various committees and auxiliaries including the Missionary Circle and as a Stewardess. Her dedication continued until her declining health.
Pauline married the late Scott David Sellars, and from this union, they had 3 children.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was predeceased by her two sisters Frances “Lilly May” Richmond and Mozelle Morrow; nine brothers Joseph Pinnix, Lacy Sellars, Hoskins Sellars, Ed Allen Sellars, Reverend Roger Sellars, William Thomas Sellars, James Allen Sellars, Donnie Sellars. And Jerry Sellars.
Mrs. Pauline S. Sellars leaves behind to cherish her precious memory, one daughter, Mary Dianne Sellars Fowler of Graham, North Carolina; two sons John Daniel Sellars of Nashville, North Carolina and Stevie Hester Sellars (Lynn) of Greensboro, North Carolina; six sisters Mary Terry of Burlington, North Carolina, Adell Graves, Cora Sellars both of Elon, North Carolina, Ada Briggs of Mebane, North Carolina, Diana Williamson (Jeff) of Reidsville, North Carolina, and Teresa Watlington of Burlington, North Carolina; one brother, Larry Sellars (Eloise) of Yanceyville, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law, Maggie Sellars, Delois Briggs both of Yanceyville, North Carolina, and Juanita King of Reidsville, North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Reverend George Sellars of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many cherished friends.

A Public viewing for Mrs. Pauline S. Sellars will be on Friday, February 07, 2025; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Family visitation viewing for Mrs. Pauline S. Sellars will be on Saturday, February 08, 2025; from 12 noon to 12:30 p.m. at Stoney Creek A.M.E. Church in Elon, NC.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Pauline S. Sellars will be conducted at 12:30pm on Saturday, February 08, 2025; at Stoney Creek A.M.E. Church in Elon, NC.
