Burlington, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Tina Holloway Cousin 45, of Burlington, North Carolina. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 06, 2025, at Alamance Regional Medical Center, in Burlington, North Carolina.
She was the beloved daughter of Barbara Holloway and the late Dean Southern born on December 06, 1980, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Tina studied electrical engineering at Piedmont Community College. She had a strong work ethic and spent many years working with EIT in Danville, Virginia, before later transitioning to McDonald’s, where she served in several roles. Tina was known for her versatility and willingness to take on many types of work, always showing dedication and resilience.
Tina was a person full of love, and if she loved you, she loved you hard. She was full of laughter, she loved to sing, and she especially loved to fish so much that she would go to the fish bank any day and anytime, she especially loved being surrounded by her family and her friends. Tina was a feisty but loving person; she had your back no matter what, your ride or die. So many people loved her, and I hope she knows that she was loved deeply no matter what. She was a hard worker and did what she could for her family and was always willing and ready to help someone, even when she did not have much.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Lindsay Holloway (aka Big Man) and Marie Totten Holloway, and her aunts and uncles.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother and stepfather, Barbara Holloway and Wilbert Richmond Sr.; her three daughters, AnicQa Slade, Makiya Cousin, and Indiya Cousin; her five sisters, Tasha Coles, Chantay Richmond, Claricia Holloway Cousin (Johnny), Alicia Holloway, and Shakita Holloway; her two brothers, Dean Southern Jr. and Wilbert Richmond Jr.; her six grandchildren Shymir Brandon, Jaiden Slade, Honesti Moore, Ky’son Cousin, Khelani Herbin, and Harmoni Moore; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
