Cascade, VA. - It is with profound sorrow that we announced the death of Mrs. Virgie Lee Dillard Williams of 140 Big Hill Rd Cascade, VA., who departed this life on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Riverside Nursing Facility in Danville, Virginia.
She was born May 08, 1925, to the late Josephine Dillard. Virgie was married to the late Jessie Williams. She was employed with Hooker Furniture Company prior to her retirement. Virgie had a sweet spirit, loving heart, bright and radiant smile.
Virgie confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, in Cascade, Virginia; where she served on the usher board until her declining health.
leave to cherish her memories to five daughters: Mazie Murphy of Axton, Virginia, Bernice Motley of Danville, Virginia, Helen Burger of Martinsville, Virginia, Jessie Mae Wooding of Dry Fork, Virginia, and Gladys Clark of Danville, Virginia; one son: Jimmy Williams (Mironda) of Greensboro, North Carolina; one sister: Ruth Bladen of Eden, North Carolina; one brother: Richard Dillard (Viola) of New Castle, Delaware; seventeen grandchildren: a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives; and devoted friends.

Family visitation viewing for Mrs. Virgie Lee Dillard Williams will be Wednesday, October 18, 2023; from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Cascade, Virginia.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Virgie Lee Dillard Williams will be conducted Wednesday, October 18, 2023; at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Cascade, Virginia.
Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens in Danville, Virginia.
