Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Ms. Barbara Farmer 77 of 270 Cooper Rodgers Road in Milton, North Carolina. She passed away on Monday, April 06, 2026, at Yanceyville Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Yanceyville, North Carolina.

Barbara, the beloved daughter of the late Adolphus Farmer and Virginia Ann McCain Farmer, was born on April 16, 1948, in Caswell County, North Carolina.

She attended the local public schools and was a graduate of Bartlett Yancey Senior High School, continuing her education at Piedmont Community College in Yanceyville, North Carolina.

Shortly afterwards, Barbara provided administrative support and direction to employees and visitors as a clerical secretary at Gold Toe Brands, Incorporated in Burlington, North Carolina prior to her retirement.

Barbara was a member of Word of Faith Apostolic Church in Milton, North Carolina.

Ms. Barbara Farmer leaves to cherish her memories with her son Christopher Farmer (Karen) and her grandchild Jaylyn Baker all of Yanceyville, North Carolina; her sister and brother Sallie McCain and Calvin McCain both of Danbury, Connecticut; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.

Memorial Services for Ms. Barbara Farmer will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 18, 2026; in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Pastor Reginald Coleman will deliver the Words of Comfort.
