Graham, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Ms. Bobbi Gaye McNeil 59,of Graham, North Carolina. She passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Bobbi, the beloved daughter of the late Bobby McNeil and Dorothy Claybrooks McNeil was born on April 30, 1966; in Alamance, County, North Carolina.

She attended the local public schools and was a “Class 1984” graduate of Eastern Alamance High School in Mebane, North Carolina. Bobbi continued her education in Business Administration at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.

In 1989, Bobbi pursued her career as an Administrative Officer at Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. She managed administrative activities and functions including independently and directly coordinated, planned, and evaluated the Ward Administration, Ambulatory Care, and/or Health Benefits within the Health Administration Services operations. Bobbi ensured that these operations ran smoothly and procedurally, which supported the Veteran Affairs mission when providing inpatient and outpatient care for our Veterans who so proudly served our nation.

Bobbi was a member of Mt. Carmel Holiness Church in Madison, North Carolina, where she served the missionary department, the culinary auxiliary, and a as greeter on the usher board. Her favorite past times included spending time with family and friends, travelling, and cooking. She especially loved talking, to the point Bobbi never met a stranger.

Ms. Bobbi Gaye McNeil leaves to cherish her memories with her husband Al Woody of Mebane, North Carolina; her brother Dwayne McNeil of Graham, North Carolina; her sister Tammie Warren of High Point, North Carolina; her nephew Corey McNeil (Keri), and her two great-nephews Evan and Anderson McNeil all of Graham, North Carolina; her four uncles James McNeil, Charles McNeil (Janice) all of High Point, North Carolina, Ernest McNeil, and Frank McNeil (Barbara) all of Springfield Illinois; her special cousin Wanda Hart, and goddaughter Kenisha Hart both of Madison, North Carolina; a host of other loving relatives, special friends Sherman Lea of Graham North Carolina, Ronda Brown-Bryd of Mebane, North Carolina, Bridgette Brooks of Hillsborough, North Carolina, and Cheryl Smelly of Pleasant Grove, North Carolina; along with her many other cherished friends.

A Public viewing for Ms. Bobbi Gaye McNeil will be on Wednesday, April 29, 2026; from 2:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Yanceyville, NC.

A Family visitation viewing for Ms. Bobbi Gaye McNeil will be on Thursday, April 30, 2026; from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. at Jeffries Cross Baptist Church, in Burlington, NC.

Funeral Services for Ms. Bobbi Gaye McNeil will be conducted at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 30, 2026; at Jeffries Cross Baptist Church, in Burlington, NC.

Interment will follow at Martin’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Mebane, NC.
