She was a native of Rockingham, Co, NC the daughter of Jay Covington and Margaret Lindsey, born April 20, 1985. She was a graduate of Rockingham County High School and was an employee of Procter & Gamble.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bishop Robert Covington, grandmother, Brenda Covington, and sister, Deanna Beard.

Her survivors are father, Jay Covington (Tawanda) of Greensboro, NC. mother, Margaret Lindsey of Charlotte, NC; sisters, April Covington of Charlotte, NC and Margaret McCain of Reidsville, NC; uncles, Darrell Covington (Christy) of Tennessee, Ricky Covington of Reidsville, NC, Tony Covington (Latoya) of Eden, NC, and Craig Covington (Donna) of Ruffin, NC.; aunts, Linda Covington of Reidsville, NC, Candice Pierce (Dustin) of Danville, Va. and Lavonya Covington of Danville, Va.; a host of other relatives and friends.
