Eden, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Delna Jean Thompson Watt of 620 Taylor St. Eden, NC, who passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at her residence.

Mrs. Delna was born November 09, 1956, to the late Haywood P. Thompson Jr. and Robena Scales Thompson in Rockingham County.

She was a member of Monument of Faith Ministries in Eden, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Emma Carol Winchester, and a brother Larry Leonard Thompson.

Delna leaves to cherish her memories to her stepson, Michael Aiken (Amy) of North Port, Florida; stepdaughter, Misty Watt-Penn (Jacob) of Liberty, NC; brothers, Roy J. Thompson (Lue) and James M. Thompson both of Eden, NC; one sister, Shelia D. Wells of Eden, NC; one aunt, Elsie Mark (French) of Ohio and Cousin James Mark. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing for Ms. Delna Jean Thompson Watt will be Saturday November 30, 2024, from 2 pm to 7 pm in the Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel 417 Price St. Eden, NC

Funeral service for Ms. Delna Jean Thompson Watt will be Sunday December 1, 2024, 2:00 pm, with family arriving at 1:30p.m. at Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel 417 Price St. Eden, NC.

Interment will follow in the Hairston Cemetery, Eden, NC.
