Semora, NC - Ms. Frances Jean Royal Bennett was the beloved daughter of the late Aldeen and Beatrice S. Royal, born on June 26,1953, in Caswell County, North Carolina.
On Friday, January 24, 2025, Frances Jean Royal Bennett departed her earthly life surrounded by her family at Wake Medical Center, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Aldeen and Beatrice Stewart Royal; three brothers, Daniel Royal, David Royal and Aldean Royal; and one grandchild, Nautica Barnette.
Frances was educated in Caswell County schools. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Semora, North Carolina, where she served as an usher. She worked in manufacturing, housekeeping, and other various jobs until her declining health.
Frances was considered a jack of all trades, because of her many skills and talents. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, going to the casinos and flea markets, doing jigsaw puzzles, planting flowers and watching westerns. Frances was the comedian of the family. Being a person who loved having fun, she was known for keeping the family laughing during our family gatherings.
Ms. Frances Jean Royal Bennett leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Cassandra Williams and Kelly Royal Trotter (Tim); five grandchildren, Lankeisha Barnette, Andreus Wade, Kiandra Williams, Tianda Williams and Jaylen Neal; five great-grandchildren, Jazlyn Littlejohn, Harmoni Richmond, Andrea Hankins, Angel Hankins and Jeremiah Terry; five step-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; four sisters, Daisy Elmore (David), Emma Royal, Katie Wagstaff (Gregory) and Connie Royal; six nieces, Tammie Wenstley, Nicole Royal, Danelle Elmore, Tameshala Johnson-Wilkerson, Brandie Royal and Themedre Royal; three nephews, Reginald Elmore, Reverend Daniel Elmore (Danielle) and Bernard Royal (Veleka); two dear friends, Laura McCain and Curtis McCain and a host of other relatives, and friends.
The Public viewing for Ms. Frances Jean Royal Bennett will be on Saturday, February 01, 2025; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral.
The Family viewing and visitation for Ms. Frances Jean Royal Bennett will be on Sunday, February 02, 2025; from 12:30p.m. to 1:00p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, in Semora, NC.
Funeral Services for Ms. Frances Jean Royal Bennett will be conducted at 1:00pm on Sunday, February 02, 2025, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, in Semora, NC.
