Axton, VA - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Ms. Jennifer Denise Clark, age 67, of 7779 Axton Road, Axton, Virginia. She departed this life on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at her residence.

Jennifer, born on February 12, 1958, in Axton, Virginia, was the daughter of the late Thomas Bryant Clark and Louise Hagwood Clark. She was a member of Refuge Temple Ministries in Martinsville, Virginia. Jennifer was employed as a cook at Cohen's Tea Room Restaurant in Eden, North Carolina, for many years.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer was preceded in death by five brothers: Thomas, Lawrence, Ike, Sammy, and Robert Clark.

Ms. Jennifer Clark leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Natasha Whitaker of Raleigh, North Carolina; three sisters: Carlene "Kitty" Cohen (Bishop Dr. J. Rolan Cohen) of Eden, North Carolina, Judy Hairston (Reverend Charles Hairston) of Cascade, Virginia, and Juanita McCorkle of Axton, Virginia; three brothers: Sugar Ray Clark of Axton, Virginia, Melvin Clark (Brenda), and Alphonso Clark, all of Martinsville, Virginia; a devoted cousin, Donnell Galloway (Gary); two devoted caregivers, Stephanie Payne and Muriel Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A public viewing for Ms. Jennifer Denise Clark will be on Sunday, June 01, 2025; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel, 417 Price Street, Eden, NC

A family visitation viewing for Ms. Jennifer Denise Clark will be on Monday, June 02, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel 417 Price Street, Eden, NC.

Funeral service for Ms. Jennifer Denise Clark will be conducted at 1:00pm, Monday, June 2, 2025, at Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel 417 Price Street, Eden, NC. Pastor Alan Preston of Refuge Temple Ministries in Martinsville, Virginia will deliver the words of comfort.
