Ms. June Irene Artis Williams

Ms. June Irene Artis Williams was born in Cascade Va. to William Artis Sr. and Helen Hairston Artis on June 8,1942. The Lord smiled down on June on April 12, 2024, and called her home.

She was a member of Sunny Home Baptist Church in Eden, NC, where she attended regularly before falling ill. She was a loving mother to her children and a doting grandmother to her grandchildren.

June was an employee of Fieldcrest Cannon in Eden, NC before retirement.

In addition to her parents, William Artis Sr. and Helen Hairston Artis, she was preceded in death by one son, Grover Cleveland Williams Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Ike Williams of Eden, NC, and Issac Williams of Greensboro, NC; two daughters, Cotelia  Williams of Raleigh, NC and Cordelia Williams of Zebulon, NC; four grandchildren, Joshua Balough of Eden, NC, Hydeia Williams of Greensboro, NC Aniah Williams and Isaiah Williams both of Zebulon NC; two great grandchildren, siblings; William Artis Jr. (Ann) and Cora Pass both of Eden NC and several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 2 PM to 7 PM at Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel; 417 Price Street, Eden, NC.

Family visitation for Ms. June Irene Artis Williams will be Friday, April 19, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Sunny Home Baptist Church.

Funeral Service for Ms. June Irene Artis Williams will be conducted on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Sunny Home Baptist Church, Eden, NC.

Interment will follow at Hamlin Cemetery 647 Creekridge Drive, in Eden, NC.
