Ms. Sadie Willis Wheeler

Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Ms. Sadie Willis Wheeler formally from US Highway, 158 West Yanceyville, North Carolina. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 06, 2024, at her son’s residence in Newcastle, Oklahoma.

Sadie, the beloved daughter of the late Percy Willis and Pauline Bushnell Willis, was born on December 06, 1943, in Caswell County, North Carolina.

She attended the local public schools and Sadie was a Textile Worker for Firestone in Burlington, North Carolina. Sadie was also a member of Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church, in Yanceyville, North Carolina. She was a very loving and caring person; who wore a smile that brightened any room.

In addition to her parents, Sadie was preceded in death by her three brothers: Vernell Willis, William Willis, and Ray Lee Willis.

Ms. Sadie Willis Wheeler leaves to cherish her memories with her son: William Wheeler and his family (wife Toniga) and children: Abrielle and ZaBren all from Newcastle, Oklahoma; special friends: Paul Dillard and Letitia Thompson (Elliot); godchildren: Elatise Gallagher (Timothy) and Emani Thompson and her other relatives; and friends.

Public viewing for Ms. Sadie Willis Wheeler will be on Friday, March 15, 2024; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral.

Funeral Services for Ms. Sadie Willis Wheeler will be conducted on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 12:00 noon; at Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church, West Yanceyville, North Carolina 27379

Interment will follow in Blackwell Baptist Church Cemetery - Willis Family Section West Yanceyville, North Carolina 27379
