Ms. Sharon Faye Hairston

Eden, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Sharon Faye Hairston 58, of 107 Kirkwood Ct. Eden, NC, who passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, at her residence.

Sharon was the daughter of Nannie E. Abbott Hairston and the late Clarence Ervin Hairston, born April 21, 1967, in Washington, DC. She was a graduate of Tunstall High School in Dry Fork, Va. class of 1986.

Sharon was a member of Cedar Grove Tabernacle of Praise in Greensboro, NC and she was a former employee of Henniges Automotive Co. in Reidsville, NC.

She leaves to cherish her memories are her mother. Nannie Elizabeth Abbott Hairston of Eden, NC; one daughter, Alexia Charmaine Walters of Eden, NC; two sons, Keith Antonio Hairston ( LaCoure) of Raleigh, NC and DeMario Montez Hairston of Greensboro, NC; three sisters, Stephanie Diane Hairston of Burlington, NC, Mary "Toni" Hairston of Greensboro, NC and Tameka La Shea Henderson of Burlington, NC;  one brother, Clarence Dwayne Hairston (  Marketta ) of Eden, NC; two grandchildren, KaQuan Hairston of Reidsville, NC and Nyla Hairston of Eden, NC; nieces; nephews, aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends.

A viewing for Ms. Sharon Faye Hairston will be Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 2pm to 7pm at Fulton-Walton Memorial Chapel 417 Price St. Eden, NC

Funeral service for Ms. Sharon Faye Hairston will be conducted Friday, June 27, 2025, 12:30 pm at Cedar Grove Tabernacle of Praise 612 Norwalk St. Greensboro, NC with family arriving at 12:00 noon. Overseer J. Troy Blackwell will deliver the words of comfort. Interment will follow in the New Cascade Baptist Church Cemetery in Cascade, Va.
