Ms. Wilson Watlington

Yanceyville, NC-   It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Wilson Watlington, 85, of 4533 Hodges Dairy Road, Yanceyville, NC, who departed her earthly life on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Authorcare Hospice, Burlington, NC.

Ms. Wilson Watlington was the daughter of the late Calvin Watlington and Bertha Blackwell Watlington, born on June 26, 1939, in Caswell County, NC.  She was a member of the Mineral Springs Baptist Church, Pelham, NC.   She was a homemaker and loved babysitting.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Wilson Watlington was preceded in death by her two brothers, James Watlington and Jake Watlington; and seven sisters, Geneva Hodnett, Idosa Watlington, Bertha Hunt, Odessa McLaughlin, Beatrice Watlington, Marjorie Jeffries and Ellen Turner.

Ms. Wilson Watlington leaves to cherish her precious memories to her beloved brother Norman Watlington (Deloris) of Milton, NC.; nieces; nephews other relatives and friends.

A Public viewing for Ms. Wilson Watlington will be on Saturday, February 1, 2025; from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home, Yanceyville, NC.

The family visitation for Ms. Wilson Watlington will be on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home, Yanceyville, NC.

Funeral Services for Ms. Wilson Watlington will be 5 p.m.  on Sunday, February 2, 2025, in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home, Yanceyville, NC.  Rev. Freddie Seabrooks will deliver the words of comfort.

Interment will Monday, February 3, 2025, 12 Noon in the Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelham, NC.
