Burlington, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Nancy Christine Adams of 508 Richmond Ave. Burlington, NC, who passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at her residence.
She was a native of Caswell County, NC the daughter of the late Mary Adams Southern, born September 01, 1949.
She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Burlington, NC and was a employed as a textile worker before retirement.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Southern Jr, and Dean Southern; three sisters, Elnora Farmer, Elizabeth Adams and Marjorie Lea.
Her survivors are two sons, Thomas Garland (Connie) of Richmond, VA and Ricky Leon Garland of Burlington, NC; one daughter, Carol Denise Garland of Ruffin, NC; one sister, Carolyn Southern of Yanceyville, NC ; two brothers, James Adams of Lincolnton, NC and Jimmy Southern of Greensboro, NC; three grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
