Danville, VA - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Patrick Kim "Duck" Stephens 60, of 147 Wesley Dr., Apt.# 6, Danville, VA, who died Monday, July 20, 2020 at his residence.
He was the son of Patrick Henry Stephens and Mary Crutchfield Stephens, born October 13, 1959 in Person County, NC. He joined High Rock Baptist Church at an early age and was employed by Wilkins Co. in Danville, VA.
He was preceded in death by cousins, Bobby Crutchfield, Gregory Crutchfield and Carolyn Crutchfield; one brother-in-law, Robert Elmore.
His survivors are wife, Vanessa Elmore Stephens of the home; son, Patrick Laneal Stephens (Sededra) of Blanch, NC; godson, Dashaun Elmore of the home; one granddaughter, Kaleb Stephens of Blanch, NC; cousins, Sandra Cates (Leroy) of Roxboro, NC, Phyllis Crutchfield of Philadelphia, PA and Henry "June" Crutchfield (Pat) of Philadelphia, PA; brothers-in-law, Joe Elmore of Danville, VA, James Elmore (Teresa) of Burlington, NC, Willie Elmore of Danville, VA; aunt, Isabelle Crutchfield of Leasburg, NC; good friend, Freddie Graves (Maggie) of Yanceyville, NC; a host of other relatives and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time. Please remember to follow CDC guidelines with everyone wearing protective gloves and masks.
Graveside Service will be Saturday, July 25, 2020 11:00 am at High Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
