Greensboro, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Pharlina Evans Jones 63, of 4203 Butterfield Dr. Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away Monday, October 11, 2021.
Pharlina was a native of Caswell County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Willie H. Evans and Hattie Lownes Evans, born August 3, 1958. She joined Providence Baptist Church at an early age.
Pharlina retired and worked part-time at XLC Services/Procter and Gamble in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law who loved caring for her family and giving advice. Pharlina gave so much love, compassion, and support to everyone she was close to. Her favorite pastimes were being on Facebook, dancing, sewing, and fixing her famous chicken salad, and fried chicken. Pharlina’s bright smile and vivacious personality will be missed by everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Pharlina was preceded in death by three brothers, Anthony “Tony” Evans, Willie Evans, and Larry Evans; two sisters, Linda Kay Evans, and Mary Ann Jackson.
Ms. Pharlina Evans Jones leaves to cherish her memories to two daughters, Katina Jones Graves (Ryan) of Providence, North Carolina and Kamisha Jones Hodges (Adrian) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; three grandsons, Cameron Graves, Aidan Hodges, and Kamden Hodges; two granddaughters, Chanel Graves and Cristin Graves; two brothers, Alexander Evans of Royal Palm Beach, Florida and Ron Evans of Maryville, California; two sisters, Lane Delois McBroom of Greensboro, North Carolina and Shirley Mae Evans of Yanceyville, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Marion Evans of Yanceyville, North Carolina; and a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home (FACIAL MASKS ARE REQUIRED).
Funeral Services for Ms. Pharlina Evans Jones will be Sunday, October 17, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home. Pastor Reginald Coleman will deliver the words of comfort. (FACIAL MASKS ARE REQUIRED).
