Axton, Va.- It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Ms. Regina Dillard, 68, of 35 Dillard Rd. Axton, Va. who passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in the Select Specialty Hospital Greensboro, NC. She was born July 19, 1956, in Axton, Virginia, to the late James Harden Dillard and Annie Eliza Clark Dillard
She attended G.W. Carver High School and had been employed at Fieldcrest Mill in Eden NC until the company’s demise. She had a special love for her family and friends.
. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Dillard, brothers, James L. Dillard, Sylvester Dillard and Delano Aikens.
Regina is survived by her Daughter, Twyla Dillard; one grandson Dahmir Allen ; 2 brothers, Alvis Dillard (Hazel) of Eden, NC and Gimmie Scales of Martinsville, Va.; 4 sisters, Elizabeth Hampton, VA, Olivia Mitchell of Pineville, SC, Fannie Little (Stanford) and Ann Adams of Eden, NC, and Jeanetta Rowland of Paterson, NJ; 2 Special nieces that she helped to rear Shuwana Dillard and Ebony Boyd and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing and visitation for Ms. Regina Louise Dillard will be held Sunday, November 17, 2024, at St. John Baptist Church 7440 Axton Rd. Axton, Va. from 2 pm to 5 pm with family present from 2 pm to 3 pm. Her final resting place will be in the St. John Baptist Church Cemetery.
