Providence, NC - It is with profound sorrow we that announce the death of Mr. Richard Neal Reid Sr.; age 70, of 4484 Shady Grove Road, Providence, North Carolina, who passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022; at the AuthoraCare Collective Hospice in Burlington, North Carolina.

Richard was the son of the late Nell Burnette Reid and Ralph Reid, born February 04, 1952; in Birmingham, Alabama.

Richard was a Shipping and Receiving employee at Lockheed Martin in Manassas, Virginia.

Mr. Richard Neal Reid Sr. leaves to cherish his memories to his wife Pamela Reid of West Virginia; his daughter, Ashley Rebecca Shelton of Providence, North Carolina; his son, Richard Neal Reid Jr. of Parkton, North Carolina; three sisters, Barbara Church of Encinitas, California, Cindy Reid of Huntington Beach, California, and Joan Rietkerk of Anaheim, California; two brothers, James Reid of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Garry Reid of Alexandria, Virginia; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and cherished friends.
