Blanch, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Robert L. Garland Sr. of 2781 High Rock School Rd. Blanch, NC, who passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in the Alamance Regional Medical Center (Cone Health) Burlington, NC.
He was a native of Caswell County, NC , the son of the late James W. Garland and Rachael Willis Garland, born November 5, 1949. He was a member of High Rock Baptist Church in Blanch, NC and was a employee of GKN in Mebane, NC before retirement.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Bessie G. Madden; two brothers, Norton and James Garland.
His survivors are wife, Bettie Bennett Garland of the home; one daughter, Camesha Garland of the home; two sons, Reginald Garland (Jessica) of Yanceyville, NC and Robert Garland (Tenaya) of Greensboro, NC; four sisters, Lorene Garland, Stella Graves, Monnie Glass all of Blanch, NC and Cora Turner (Carl) of Reidsville, NC; three grandchildren, Reagan Garland, Aubree Garland, and Reginald Garland II; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be held on Friday , May 1, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time. Please remember to follow CDC guidelines with everyone wearing protective gloves and masks.
Private Graveside Service will be Saturday, May 2, 2020 in High Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
