Robert Stanley Coleman

Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Robert Stanley Coleman 54, formerly of Milton, NC, who passed away Monday, August 16, 2021.

Mr. Robert Stanley Coleman was born in Person County, NC on July 7, 1967 to Semond Poteat Coleman and the late George E. Coleman.  He was a graduate of Bartlett Yancey High school and a member of the Word of Faith Apostolic Church in Milton, NC.

Mr. Robert Stanley Coleman was employed by Costella's Painting Company out of Cincinnati, Ohio for over 20 years.

Cherishing his memories are his mother Semond Poteat Coleman of Milton, NC; two brothers, Pastor Reginald Coleman (Eva) of Ruffin, NC and George Michael Coleman (Mary) of Yanceyville, NC; one sister, Sharone C. Hamlett (Melvin) of Milton, NC; four aunts, Jeanette Poteat of Danville, VA, Brenda Pointer (Johnny) of Alton, VA,  Romeda Williams of Alton, VA and Minister Alice Murphy of Leasburg, NC; three uncles, Willie James Coleman of Leasburg, NC, Roderick Coleman (Verna) of Leasburg, NC and Melvin Coleman (Margaret) of Leasburg, NC; three close friends, Marvin Anderson, Ronnie Garland and Wayne Clayborne (Annette) all of Milton, NC; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Stanley Coleman will be Monday, August 23, 2021  1:00 p.m. at the Providence Baptist Church, Yanceyville, NC, with Pastor Reginald Coleman delivering the words of comfort. Interment will follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
