Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Rosa L. Williamson Miller, age 97, who passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Brookside Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, Abington, Pennsylvania .
Rosa was the daughter of the late Johnson Williamson and Ossie Lownes Williamson born on April 16, 1924 in Caswell County, NC.
At a young age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and she joined Pearson Chapel AME Church, where she served until, she relocated to Pennsylvania.
Rosa was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by by one son, Raymond Edward Miller, Jr.; six sisters, Sallie Graves, Frances Lea, Julia Morse, Erobella Madkins, Mary “Leaky” Stroud, and Evelyn Willis; four brothers, Irvin, Henry, Frank, and Howard Williamson.
Mrs. Rosa L. Williamson Miller leaves to cherish her beloved memories to her husband, Raymond Edward Miller, Sr. of the home, two sisters, Gertrude W. Martin, and Pauline W. Hairston both of Greensboro, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Friday, January 14, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
Family visitation will be Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 3:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the chapel of Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel before graveside services.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Rosa L. Williamson Miller will be Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Pearson Chapel AME Church Cemetery, Reverend Rachel McCaden will deliver the words of comfort. Committal and Interment will follow at the Pearson Chapel AME Church Cemetery in Yanceyville, NC.
