For over 80 years, she was an active member of the Sassafras Grove Baptist Church, where she served as a member of the nursing unit, a missionary, and held the title of “mother” of the church. She cherished and loved her church, community, and the Lord. Her strong faith was often heard through emotional testimonies throughout the years, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!” Psalm 107:2
