Milton, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Ulysses Jeffrey Pointer, age 51, of 50 Palmer Alley Milton, NC; who passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022; at Duke Hospice-Hoke Family Pavilion in Durham NC.

Ulysses was a native of Halifax, Virginia; where he was born on May 07, 1971; to Clara Tucker Pointer and the late John Paul Pointer, Sr.

Ulysses was a graduate of Halifax County High School.

Ulysses was a member Greater Brandon Chapel Baptist Church in Alton, Virginia at a young age. Then he later joined Apostolic Faith Temple in Ringgold, Virginia; where he was baptized.

If anyone knew Ulysses, they knew that he loved classic cars and trucks; especially his 1963 Chevy truck.

Mr. Ulysses Jeffrey Pointer leaves to cherish his beloved memories to his devoted friend of 25 years, Cynthia McGhee of the home; his son, Jameel McGhee of Milton, North Carolina; his mother, Clara Tucker Pointer of Ringgold, Virginia; his four sisters, Melissa Clayborn (Edward) of Milton, North Carolina, Carolyn Pointer (Anthony) of Ringgold, Virginia, Mary Coleman (George) of Yanceyville, North Carolina, and Jacqueline Pointer of Danville, Virginia; his one brother, John Paul Pointer Jr. of Ringgold, Virginia; and a host of nieces' nephews; other relatives; and cherished friends.

The family may be contacted at his residence; 50 Palmer Alley Milton, NC and at his mother's residence; 254 Oliver Dr. Ringgold, VA.

A viewing for Mr. Ulysses Jeffrey Pointer will be Sunday, October 9, 2022; 2 PM to 7 PM in the John & Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Mr. Ulysses Jeffrey Pointer will be Monday, October 10, 2022; 2:00 PM at Apostolic Faith Temple 124 Witcher Rd. Ringgold, VA.

Interment will follow in the Prayer of Faith Ministries Cemetery, Milton, NC.
