Yanceyville, NC - It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mrs. Victoria Turner Smith, 75, of 78 Stokes Rd. (Hwy. 158 West) Yanceyville, NC, who passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, in the Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC.
Victoria was born on December 13, 1947, in Caswell County to the Mary Stoke Turner and Late Willie Edward Turner. She was a devoted member of Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, Victoria was preceded in death by her brother Charles Turner and her sister Elizabeth Turner.
Victoria leaves to cherish her memories her mother Mary Stokes Turner of Yanceyville, NC; one daughter Paula Smith Foster of Graham, NC; four grandchildren Edtrail Smith, Tyesha Foster, Takiyah Foster, and Sabria Foster; one Godson Charles Turner; three Goddaughters Chandrel Turner, Camisha Spencer, and Charity Henderson; two brothers John Turner of Danville, VA. and Clarence Turner (Clarice) of Roxboro, NC; one sister Dorothy Graves (David) of Yanceyville, NC; sister-in-law Christine Turner of Yanceyville, NC,; as well as a host of nieces; nephews other relatives and friends.
A Viewing will be Thursday, May 11, 2023; from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.
A Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2023; from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM; at Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church in Yanceyville, NC.
Funeral Services for Ms. Victoria Turner Smith will be Friday, May 12, 2023; at 11:00 AM; at Black Missionary Baptist Church in Yanceyville, NC.
Interment will follow at the Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Yanceyville, NC.
