Reidsville, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Ms. Vivian Phillips formerly of Yanceyville, NC, who passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022; at Pine Forest Rest Home in Reidsville, NC.
Vivian Phillips was born in Yanceyville, North Carolina on May 10, 1940. She was the fourth of six daughters born to the late Anderson Phillips and Lillie Maude Vaughn Phillips.
Vivian accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age and became an active member of Graves Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Yanceyville, North Carolina.
Vivian attended the Caswell County training school in Yanceyville, North Carolina; where she graduated in 1958.
Vivian obtained her associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont Community College in Yanceyville, North Carolina; where she graduated in in 2003. Afterwards Vivian pursued her career at Graves Chapel Daycare; where she worked for many years.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her five sisters, Betty, Joan, Flossie, Ernestine, and Dorothy; her maternal grandparents, Alex, and Fleater B. Vaughn; and her paternal grandparents, Major Frank, and Betty Fannie Phillips.
Ms. Vivian Phillips leaves to cherish her memories to her beloved niece, Lekeshia Malone (Rick); great niece, Kaylee; brother-in-law, Horace M. Lee (Carol); other loving relatives, her church family, and many cherished friends.
A viewing for Ms. Vivian Phillips will be Wednesday, November 30, 2022; from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the John and Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral.
Funeral Services for Ms. Vivian Phillips will be Thursday, December 01, 2022; at 12:00 noon at Graves Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, in Yanceyville, North Carolina; where Reverend Kenneth Walker will deliver the words of comfort.
Interment will follow in the Graves Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
