PELHAM, NC - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Will Arthur Motley, 80, of 116 Forest Drive, Pelham, North Carolina, who died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Will Arthur Motley was born October 22, 1940 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late Allen Bose Motley and Rebecca Williams Motley. 

Mr. Will was a member of Smith Chapel Baptist Church. He was employed with Dan River prior to his retirement.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Will Arthur Motley was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Motley.

Mr. Will Arthur Motley leaves to cherish his beloved memories to his:  wife, Louise Grasty Motley of the home; stepdaughter, Cordelia Smith of High Point, North Carolina; four sons, Arthur Lee Motley (Perci) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Robin Terrell Motley of Pelham, North Carolina, Michael Vincent Motley (Katina) of Ruffin, North Carolina and Jeremy Motley of Pelham, North Carolina; four sisters, Margaret Hairston (John T.) of Ruffin, North Carolina, Alice Hill (Albert) of Washington, District of Columbia, Doris Chatman of Silver Spring, Maryland and Zettie Jones of Providence, North Carolina; four grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Mr. Will Arthur Motley will be Saturday, February 6, 2021, 1:00 pm in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home.

*Attendance at the funeral will be limited to fifty (50) individuals and attendees will be pre-determined by the family*.
